For those of you lucky enough to live within reasonable traveling distance, Canon USA have set up a series of free photography workshops in Grand Canyon and Yellowstone National Parks.
Catering from beginners through to advanced, the courses will give amateur photographers a tremendous opportunity to photograph some of the most spectacular sights in the world, with a professional photographer by your side to help point your lenses in the right direction. Instruction will be given based on your skill level. There will also be a series of lectures in the evening.
Canon will have a range of digital SLRs and lenses available to loan for the courses, giving you the opportunity to stretch your skills out with your current equipment list.
This is a brilliant idea by Canon. It gives users the chance to try new kit and improve their photographic skills…which is obviously also a selling opportunity for the company. It also generates a tremendous amount of good will and even brand loyalty.
You can find out more about the courses along with dates at the Canon USA website.
