Thanks so much for posting this. My photography is not well known and i still have yet to win any awards or be hosted in any fine art shows. This shot being posted here means a lot to me and i greatly appreciate it. Now on to the story… I was walking down Grand Ave. when i took this with my buddy Matt Roe. I got down to tie my shoe and looked up at the perfectly lit composition for my 50mmf/1.8. My tripod is broken so i set my camera on the ground and lied down to check it out if it was really worth it. Snapped the shot and got up and kept moving….
