Economist Website Turns To Flickr As Photo Source: The Economist have begun using Flickr photographs to illustrate it’s articles. The photos, published under Creative Commons licenses, are to be used as backup to it’s regular wire and agency photographs. Source: Photopreneur

JPEG XR – Courtesy of Microsoft: The JPEG Group is working on a successor to it’s widely used format. It will, apparently, make use of Microsoft’s HD Photo standard. It is likely to be about 18 months before the standard is finalized. Source: Download Squad
